Big Rigs for Kids Lighted Truck Parade
The Big Rigs for Kids Lighted Truck Parade is back this year for the 7th year in a row this December.
On December 4th, the trucks will parade along University Drive. They will be stopping in front of the Library for around an hour – 7pm until just after 8pm for everyone to enjoy.
Truckers spend hours decorating their vehicles, turning them into beautiful representations of the holiday season. The trucks are often decorated with hundreds of strings of lights lighting up the faces of children and adults alike with huge smiles.
This family-friendly event begins at 6:30pm and will happen rain or shine.
The North Surrey Lions Club will be selling hot chocolate and hot dogs, with all proceeds going to the Surrey Christmas Bureau and the Food Bank
The Surrey Christmas Bureau and the Surrey Food Bank will also both be on site accepting donations. All attendees are encouraged to bring donations in the spirit of the season.
Before the parade there will be live music and facepainters at City Hall Plaza (13450 104 Ave. Surrey), so come early so that you won’t miss out on all the action!
