Itinerary Ideas

The best way to start any adventure is with a plan. Here at Tourism Surrey we love to share some of our favourite outings and things to do in the city, and have done the digging and prepared some start to finish itineraries tailored to fit the interests of many.

For the Nature Lover

As one of the fastest growing cities in British Columbia, Surrey is constantly buzzing with exciting things. Start off the day with a leisurely stroll through the beautiful trails and magical fairy kingdom at Redwood Park. After walking through the groves of mighty redwoods, head to Morgan Crossing for a mid-morning cup of delicious coffee or hot chocolate at Mink Chocolates. Once you’re all fueled up and ready to go, head to Crescent Beach and try your hand at some Stand Up Paddle Boarding. After a good workout on the Boundary Bay, you surely deserve some fish and chips from Hooked Fishbar, right on the Crescent Beach boardwalk. Enjoy people watching on the outdoor patio, then hit the beach and soak up some rays!

For the Thrill Seeker

Who doesn’t love a little adrenaline in the morning? Start your day off at the Coastal Climbing Centre, where you not only get an awesome work out, you’ll literally reach new heights. They have courses and programs for climbers of all abilities, making it a great place to pick up a new skill. After a morning of exercise, head to Chopsticks on Pho for a delicious bowl of pho, and be sure to get a spring roll while you’re at it. Next head to E-Exit and test your psyche and will to survive. E-Exit is an escape room, where you have 45 minutes to solve puzzles and riddles. Once you escape the room, satisfy your appetite at the Green Lettuce Restaurant. Green Lettuce is a unique fusion of Asian and South Asian cuisines, so you’re sure to try something you’ve never had.

For the Art Lover

Begin your adventure at the Loafing Shed Glass Studio and take in hand made blown glass vases, bowls and platters. If you’re lucky, you can catch a live demonstration of how these beautiful pieces are made. Break for lunch at the Fresh Restaurant and Lounge, on Sunday’s enjoy the brunch buffet. After filling up, check out some of the amazing public art in Surrey, including the art pieces from the Hangin’ Out: Biocenesis series hanging in the Fraser Heights Recreation Centre. Finish your day with some Karaoke at the K-Pop Karaoke Restaurant and a drink or two.
