Art by Wendy Studio & Gallery
Bringing nature to life is Wendy’s goal. Her inspiration comes from her life on the West Coast: the reflections of the trees in the water, birds feeding and nesting in the yard, or plants growing in the garden. She brings her art to life using the excitement of colour in her watercolours or the soft touch of graphite in her black and white drawings. Capturing a cherished pet on paper is one of her specialties.
Wendy Mould was born in Ontario and now lives in Surrey, on the west coast of BC, where she has been following her creative journey for over thirty years. Wendy graduated from UBC as a teacher and worked with students with learning disabilities for most of her career. Creating “things has always been a big part of her life; she started with fiber and fabric but once she found drawing she knew she had found her true voice. Wendy has been showing her work for a number of years and it may be found in collections both locally and internationally.
