Surrey/North Delta Leader
The Surrey Leader publishes every Wednesday and Friday, with a total weekly circulation of more than 172,000. It is the largest paper by circulation in the Black Press group of community papers.
Founded in 1929, most of the paper’s growth, as well as the city’s, has occurred in the past 32 years. Through that time, the Leader has adapted to better serve its growing readership. In 1982, it converted to a free-distribution weekly tabloid that also reached into the neighbouring community of North Delta.
